Hey hey everyone!
Today I want to talk to you about what should be a very important step in everyone’s make-up routine: priming your lids!
If you want your eye-shadow to stay on all day without running down your face or creasing up in your eyes, then you should wear a primer.
There are many many primers out there, some of them very famous like the Urban Decay Primer Potion or even the MAC Paint pots that are also used as primers, but you don’t actually have to spend a lot of money to get an eye base, especially if it’s a clear one or skin colored one.
This Artdeco Eye-shadow Base is literally the best eye-shadow primer I have ever tried!!! It’s skin colored, but goes on almost clear, with a pretty sheen to it. It comes in the small pot shown above and you can take it out with your (clean!!!) fingers or a brush and a little goes a long way!!!
This is my second pot and the first one lasted me for almost two years!!! It does not crease at all and your shadows stay put all day and night (yes, I slept in it…for research purposes….ok ok, I just forgot to take it off, but hey, at least now I can tell you your eye make-up will stay put if you use this, so that has to count for something, right??)
The best part of it is that it only costs 8€, which is a bargain if you ask me! It might not look like much, but it lasts you a long time, so I do think in the end it’s a really amazing price for the quality of the product!
Have you tried any other Artdeco products? What did you think?
What is your favorite eye-primer and why? I would love to know!
