Easy Recipe: Chicken zucchini pasta

I’ve told you before some of my favorite things to cook involve pasta. They’re also perfect to cook on days when you didn’t have much to eat and are craving something more substantial. Today I’m sharing with you a very simple and yummy recipe!

This chicken zucchini pasta is all you’ve ever wished for!


What you’ll need:

  • Pasta – I used fusilli, but you can use any type you want, even multi-colored pasta
  • Two garlic cloves + dried garlic
  • One zucchini
  • Two chicken or turkey filets
  • Some heavy cream (I used about half a 250ml bottle we had left)
  • Olive oil
  • Spices, salt and peeper
  • Parmesan

How to prepare it

Step 1: cut the chicken and marinate it. I used some salt and olive oil. Reserve.

Step 2: cut the zucchini into cubes and reserve.  Put water boiling and add the pasta.

Step 3: in a frying pan put some olive oil and add the garlic cloves and the dried garlic. I chopped the cloves before hand, but you can leave them whole, it’s up to you. 

Step 4: once the garlic has turned a bit brown, add the chicken and let it cook. Once it’s gotten some color, add the zucchini cubes and don’t forget to keep stirring, so it doesn’t burn.

Step 5: add the heavy cream, the spices and put the lid on. Let broil for about 10 minutes.

Step 6: drain the pasta once it is cooked. Add it to the pan and mix well. 

Step 7: serve it up in a plate and top it off with as much parmesan as you wish to – or leave it out if you don’t like any cheese on your pasta.


This is a quick and easy meal to prepare after a long day. You can even marinate the chicken the day before if you want to! Obviously you can also use other vegetables, I used what we had in the fridge.
