Hey hey everyone!!
One of my New Year’s Resolutions which you can read here, was to try and be more healthy and, in addition to drink more water, one of the things I decided to do was switch up my daily (ok ok…more like hourly…) coffee’s for something less caffeinated…
The issue is, I love coffee…and when I say I love, I mean I’m totally in love, can’t live with out it kinda way…and that’s not exactly good.. =X
Since I have horrible insomnia I always end up being extremely tired during the day and try to compensate it by drinking coffee…but I’ve realized the last couple of months that it’s become more of an addiction…I used to drink a lot of coffee, but still be ok if I didn’t or couldn’t one or other day…and now I feel literally drained to the point where I can’t think straight..
So, even though I’m totally craving coffee right now, I decided to try and switch it up with something better and healthier (since I always drink my coffee with milk and such, it always adds up on the calories without me even realizing it!) and I’ve decided to drink more tea! I was always a tea-lover but lately I just had been drinking more coffee and now I’m already on my second day drinking only ONE cup of coffee (hey, it’s one, not twelve so don’t judge! =P) and sticking to tea the rest of the day! Also, I drink green tea up until 5pm and then I switch to red fruit tee, so I don’t get the caffeine in my system!
And I gotta say, I slept not only good this past night, but also very long!!! So I guess it’s working well, huh?
That doesn’t mean that when I’m out and about I won’t get one of these:
But hey, all in moderation, right? =D
