Two weeks ago we decided to go to the Zoo in Linz to check out the cute animals and feed some goats!
Be ready for a TON of pictures!
At the end I wrote you what I thought of the whole experience =)
Happy to be at the Zoo!
You can buy food to feed the goats at the entrance for 1.50€, which I think it’s really reasonable!
How adorable is this monkey???
Did you know these turtles can get older than 100 years?
The bunny wasn’t looking very happy…
This goat was so adorable!! She let me pet her so much, but I noticed she didn’t let anyone else pet her (not even if she got food for it!)
And then the Zebra! You can’t see it in the picture, but I was in front of her…when I got to the fence I said “awww, you’re so cute” and she smiled at me! No joke!!! Markus caught it in the next picture, but I saw it from the front and it was too cute to handle!
And then she let me pet her!!!! Have you ever pet a Zebra? I was so happy! She did go away once the kids came to the fence, I guess she was just scared or so, but I’m so glad I got to have this moment with her! Pretty sure she was flirting with me!
I also fed the donkeys for a bit, but not much as I’m actually allergic to them..
This is a fairly small zoo, but I loved the experience! You have quite the way to walk, some of it in a small wooded part…there’s also a small place to stop and drink or snack something. The animals are obviously not the most exotic, but quite honestly I don’t think they always have to be. I loved the experience – I got to pet a zebra!!!
