You know how you see in many blogs a thing called “Fashion Friday”? I really enjoy reading those posts, so I decided to start a series of my own…but now to the catch: I think everyday should be fashion day! So, in my case, I’ll write these posts whenever I feel like it and just call it “Fashion -whatever day of the week it is”! What do you guys think? =P
In this post I want to talk to you about something I consider to be already a fashion staple for many decades: The Trench Coat!
I think this is such a classy way to cover up and the fun part is, there are many variations of the classic Burberry Trench and much more affordable too! They aren’t very bulky, which I like (hate feeling like I’m a walking ball!!!) and keep you dry on those days when it’s raining! And it doesn’t need to be boring, you can choose the color, length and fit you desire the most!
I found a couple of examples to show you!
This is such a gorgeous green!! It’s good if you like darker hue’s but are tired and bored of the classic black or even navy, but still want something on the dark side!
This beautiful peach color is also very modern, specially if you want something neutral but not the usual cream color that so many trenches have! This version is also a bit thicker and will keep you warmer! I personally like the collar, as it is wide but will still keep the wind away!
Of course, you have the usual classic black and you can never go wrong with it! It goes with everything and you can transition it from your school/uni years to your working years!
I am craving for a burgundy version of this little trench I found at H&M! They have one all burgundy for 35.99€ and I’m crossing my fingers that I can save up for it! I have one winter jacket and it’s basically a short trench in black and then I have another one for transitioning weather! With this trench I would be able to use it if it rains but isn’t too cold outside (like this last winter was)! And burgundy has not only been one of my favorite colors, but it’s totally in trend right now =D
Hope you guys enjoyed reading this post and let me know what I think, will ya? You can do so through myFacebook Page, my Twitter, my Instagramand of course my good old e-mail!
