It is no secret that I love coffee. It’s not just about the kick I get from it, but also the taste of coffee. The new Nespresso Limited Edition Variations ticks all boxes for me!
A few months ago Nespresso came out with three new Limited Edition Variations, inspired in the world known austrian sweet Recipes. The three kinds of coffee are: Apfel Strudel, Sacher Torte and Linzer Torte.
According to Nespresso the Variations Apfelstrudel “flavoured espresso results from the sweet marriage of Livanto’s balance and roundness with rich aromas of pastry, baked apples and a hint of cinnamon“. The apple taste is very strong, but personally I cannot really taste the pastry. It’s my second favorite of the three.
Nespresso says the Variations Sachertorte “results from the sweet marriage of Livanto’s balance and roundness with the flavor of soft chocolate and apricot notes.” You can definitely taste the chocolate and a bit of the apricot notes. From all of the three it’s the one I like the least – however it is still very good!
Last but not least, “Nespresso celebrates the popular Austrian Linzer Torte: a tasty redcurrant tart, recognizable by a lattice design. Variations Linzer Torte flavoured espresso results from the sweet marriage of Livanto’s balance and roundness with the taste of red fruits and notes of spiced dough.” I am totally in love with this one! I already have some extra sleeves so I don’t run out so quickly. The red fruits and the spiced dough come out wonderfully and give the coffee a yummy taste. It isn’t for everyone though, it’s an aquired taste, but if it’s up your alley, you’ll love it!
Even though Daisy does not drink any coffee, she’s always very curious and if one of the capsules falls, she immediately wants to play!
I like to drink my coffee with milk – according to Markus I don’t drink coffee with milk, but milk with coffee – and our Aeroccino milk frother (also from Nespresso) makes the perfect milk froth! At least once per day drink a coffee with mil froth and enjoy the brake as if I were in a coffeehouse.
Have you tried the new Nespresso Variations? Which one do you like the best?
