As some of you know in the beginning of June Markus and me flew down to Portugal to spend my birthday with my family (and for him to meet them in person as well). I showed some of the places where we went here, before I decided to play with the codex on the blog and lost a month worth of posts. Nevertheless, I still wanted to keep those posts here, because they were such a good time spent and it’s a way for me to look back at them – and for you to take a look around Portugal!
Today I am sharing snapshots from our afternoon in Cascais, a small seaside village about 30km from Lisbon!
Cascais has a lot of fisherman and by the dock you can see these net-“boxes” that they use to catch the shrimp.
We ended up sitting and having some beer at a bar by the beach bellow, enjoying the beautiful view! On our last vacation day together, we actually spent the day at the same beach and Markus even went into the water! And I’m pretty sure that he wanted to and didn’t just do it because I forced him to (hehe)
I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have some questions (where to go in the Lisbon area, etc), let me know, I’ll be glad to answer them.
Have a great week everyone!
