I think one of the things people like to do when the new year comes, is to get some resolutions, changes that you want to make to yourself, things you think will make your life better or make you happier. It’s the 2016 resolutions.
I don’t have resolutions, not the kind people usually do. I don’t want to lose a specific amount of weight or start juicing. I just want one thing: to try my best.
I want to be happy and I want to be healthy. I want to take advantage of every situation I can, because I don’t know if I will be able to do certain things forever. I want to be kind to myself. If I take longer to get somewhere or do something, I shouldn’t feel guilty about it, I should be happy and grateful I managed it, no matter how long it took.
I want to enjoy the small things everyday, the things I can do, the things I get, the cuddles, the laughs that make my belly hurt, the kisses, the small coffee cups in the office or the jokes during the breaks.
Don’t put so much pressure on yourself to do something in 2016! What is supposed to happen, will happen. Try your best, be kind to others, but don’t forget yourself, be as happy as you can be. What are your 2016 resolutions?
